About This Sector
We support the implementation of the EAC Youth Policy (2025) across all Partner States, working to empower youth through education, employment, health, civic participation, and digital transformation. Our approach recognizes youth as partners and leaders in regional development.
The Challenge
East Africa has one of the youngest populations globally, yet youth face significant challenges including high unemployment (50%+ in some areas), limited access to quality education and skills training, inadequate health services, and exclusion from decision-making processes. The demographic dividend remains unharnessed.
